Ninestar forecasts net profits to soar over 140%, driven by strong growth in key business segments.
Ninestar Co., Ltd. has released its unaudited semi-annual forecast for 2024. It projects a robust financial performance with significant growth in net profit and revenue across its key business segments.
The company anticipates a net profit attributable to shareholders ranging between ¥850 million ($119 million/ €111 million) and ¥1.05 billion ($147 million / €137 million), an increase of 142.15% to 199.12% compared to the previous year’s ¥351 million ($49 million / €46 million). Excluding non-recurring items, net profit is expected to be between ¥550 million ($77 million/ €72 million) and ¥750 million ($105 million/ €98 million), reflecting a growth of 30.98% to 78.60%.
Lexmark’s revenue is projected at $1.08 billion (€999 million/ ¥7.78 billion), a 5% increase, with a 46% rise in EBITDA to $130 million (€120 million/ ¥938 million).
The Pantum printer business is expected to generate approximately ¥2.1 billion ($294 million/ €274 million) in revenue, with a 40% rise in net profit despite a 4% drop in sales. Overseas sales saw a 50% quarterly increase.
The integrated circuit segment forecasts ¥680 million ($95 million/ €89 million) in revenue, a 12% decline, but anticipates a net profit of ¥300 million ($42 million/ €39 million), more than doubling from the previous year. General printer supplies are projected to bring in ¥3.2 billion ($448 million/ €417 million), a 10% increase, with net profits also rising by 10%.
Ninestar’s forecast, though unaudited, highlights substantial investments in product development and market expansion, with continued growth in the second half of the year.
