A new survey highlights why buyers choose trusted manufacturers, as G&G unveils its partnership model focused on mutual growth and accountability.
Ninestar, a major player in the imaging consumables market, has released survey insights identifying key factors buyers value when selecting manufacturing partners. Simultaneously, its leading brand, G&G, detailed a structured partnership model designed to align distributors with its business goals.
According to Ninestar’s survey, buyers consistently prioritise manufacturers who demonstrate technological innovation, strong quality assurance, regulatory compliance, operational support, and supply chain reliability. These attributes, the company says, are foundational to building lasting relationships in a competitive and highly regulated industry.
Linda Fan, Senior Vice General Manager of Ninestar Image, elaborated on how G&G applies these principles through a detailed checklist of expectations for potential partners.
“We know our partners will have strengths and weaknesses, but both parties must understand what they are,” said Fan. “Our role at G&G is to train and strengthen them to be strong across the board.”
G&G’s partner checklist focuses on practical capabilities, such as a robust understanding of target markets, brand alignment, financial stability, and effective logistics management. Additional requirements include strong distribution networks, adaptable sales and marketing teams, and the ability to penetrate new markets while keeping pace with shifting consumer demands.
The checklist also places a premium on clear and timely reporting, ensuring open communication between G&G and its partners.
“Buyers and distributors are looking for a manufacturer to help them build their businesses. We are looking for partners to help us build our business, too,” said Fan, noting that this mutual growth model sets G&G apart from its competitors.
The model addresses growing pressure within the imaging industry to adapt to regulatory changes and consumer preferences, particularly around sustainability and product quality. Ninestar’s survey findings suggest that buyers increasingly expect manufacturers to deliver not only reliable products but also strategic support, particularly in navigating complex compliance requirements.
Fan concluded, “Our customers expect it. Together, we can achieve it.”
