Ninestar introduces new wide-format cartridges

The company has introduced a new set of remanufactured wide-format cartridges for use in various Epson devices.

Ninestar has announced the launch a range of patent safe remanufactured ink cartridges that are used in Epson wide-format inkjet devices. The range of remanufactured ink cartridges provide IP-safe solutions that addresses the Epson ’749 patent.

Epson has reportedly filed 23 patent-infringement complaints aiming at cleaning up online marketplaces of infringement since November 2016,. In the latest lawsuit filed on 18 February, Epson accused an online seller of infringing its U.S. patent 8,794,749 (’749), which was covered by the 337-TA-946 investigation Epson was awarded in 2016.

The ’749 patent involves Epson wide-format ink cartridges T6897, T6941, T6531 and T6891.
