The company has unveiled a special celebratory video in honour of reaching its 18th birthday.
As the 1.02-minute video explains, Ninestar was founded in 2000 in Zhuhai, China, and has since gone on to become a Chinese Fortune 500 company.
When it first began, 18 years ago, the company was producing dozens of inkjet cartridges per day. Now, the company has expanded to offer “one-stop printing solutions and imaging products”, burgeoning from humble beginnings (just 38 staff and a 1,100sqm production plant) to now employing approximately 20,000 people and featuring a 450,000sqm industry park.
Ninestar currently holds 3,738 patents worldwide, including patents for its remanufactured cartridges and BlueDrive technology.
