MORGENSTERN Group donates €6,000 to charity

Donations collected at the company’s anniversary celebrations went to the Association for the Promotion of Children with Cancer in Tübingen e.V. and at the same time the company donated laptops to the association.
In June of this year, the group of companies celebrated 50 years of success with customers, business partners, employees and friends of the company. The MORGENSTERN Group wanted to share its success and gratitude for the development of the past decades with people who are dependent on support.
As a result, the Executive Board and Supervisory Board asked in the run-up to the celebration not to give presents and instead started a fundraising campaign for the association for children with cancer.
The CEO of MORGENSTERN AG, Robin Morgenstern, recently presented Mr. Horst Simschek, Deputy Chairman of the Association for the Promotion of Children with Cancer in Tübingen e.V., the donation cheque for €6,000 ($6,271). In order to cover the current needs of the association for IT equipment, the MORGENSTERN Group also donated some work equipment to the association.
“We are proud to be able to support important projects within the Children’s Cancer Aid with our fundraising campaign and to be able to maintain the important work of the Tübingen Association for Children with Cancer,” explained Robin Morgenstern, who is also an advisory board member of the association.
“The support that we offer to the affected families is and can only be guaranteed in the future through the support of new members and further donations. We are very pleased that the MORGENSTERN Group took its 50th anniversary celebration as an opportunity for a fundraiser. We are very grateful to every donor for their contribution,” added Simschek.
The Association for the Promotion of Children with Cancer in Tübingen e.V. particularly supports long-term projects to combat cancer in children and young people. The aim of the association is to support the families of the affected children with a wide range of psychological and social help and advice during this difficult time, to finance technical and diagnostic equipment in the Tübingen Children’s Clinic and to promote research into the further development of treatment therapies in pediatric oncology.
