More removal requests in Canada and UK

Canon requested the removal of toner cartridges offered by Sprint Toner Cartridges from Amazon Canada and by FAIRWAY IMPORTERS LIMITED. from Amazon UK.
Canon Inc. announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.ca seeking the removal of an Amazon.ca listing for certain toner cartridges sold by Sprint Toner Cartridges.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CF380X, CF381A, CF382A, CF383A, CC530A, CC531A, CC532A, CC533A,CE410X, CE411A, CE412A and CE413A toner cartridges sold by Sprint Toner Cartridges via Amazon.ca infringed Canon’s Canadian Patent no. 2,635,791. Canon requested the removal of the corresponding listings for these products, having Amazon Standard Identification Numbers B00B2BJ20K, B009E9GA3O, B00QESPHDW, B013YSIAQ0, B00PHRXAXU and B01AOIM4GA.
At the time of this announcement, the above-identified listings were no longer available on Amazon.ca.
Canon also announced the filing of Report Infringement Forms with Amazon UK based on the alleged use of claims 1 and 2 of the UK portion of Canon’s European Patent EP 1 977 289 (“EP ‘289”) regarding the cartridge model CE410A offered by FAIRWAY IMPORTERS LIMITED. under the ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) B00A6U6OCW.
Afterwards, Amazon took down the respective product.
This product is compatible with the above OEM HP cartridge model CE410A and provides inter alia a non-OEM housing and a non-OEM force receiving device according to claim 1 of EP ‘289. Furthermore, it comprises an elastic portion according to claim 2 of EP ‘289.
