Mito awarded China Environmental Labelling Certification

Mito reported that its factory was awarded the “China Environmental Labelling Certification” for a 10th consecutive year.
The China Environmental Labelling Product Committee was established on 17 May 1994. The Environmental Certification Centre of the State Environmental Protection Administration was founded in 2003. This Centre is recognised by the State Certification and Accreditation Administration and is the only institution to do the national green product certification and grants product environmental labelling.
The technical requirements of China environmental labelling product certification is publicised by State Environmental Protection Administration.
For a 10th year Mito has passed this certification, which the company says stipulates that its product not only meet the requirements of acceptable quality, but also reach the requirements of environmental protection during the production, use and disposal.
This certification has specific requirements for the components of cartridges. For example, Chlorine containing plastics is forbidden to be used in plastic shells, and it is also clearly specified that the usage of heavy metal should be in compliance with the standard of SJ/T 11363 and GB/T 16288.
Its audit has three main processes, including document audit, on-site inspection and sample testing.
The company said: “Mito is honoured to receive “China Environmental Labelling Certification” for 10 consecutive years, it will promote Mito keep improving in the future.”
