The company’s Chief Executive, Len Lauer, has given an interview in which he discusses Memjet’s new OEM partnership.
The short video interview, conducted by WhatTheyThink’s Managing Editor Richard Romano, sees Lauer discuss a range of topics.
Amongst these is the multiple new innovations that Memjet has been pursuing, with Lauer commenting that “we’re really pushing the technology and innovation to digital inkjet,” and named some of the company’s recent innovative improvements, including “very long-life and very high-quality printheads, with very high dots per inch (dpi.)”
Lauer also spoke of Memjet’s recent partnership with Konica Minolta, describing himself as “very excited” by the link-up.
“It’s a very large brand, with great service,” he said of the OEM, “and they are now launching a large commercial press to really go after the transactional print business.”
For his company, Lauer said there would be “killer benefits,” such as “speed, simplicity, and affordability,” as it moved towards personalisation.
