Marco wins tri-state contract with CPC
July 16, 2020
The company has announced it was awarded a contract with the Cooperative Purchasing Connection (CPC) to be the chosen reseller of sound reinforcement solutions to K-12 schools and state and local government agencies in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
The contract makes it faster and easier for schools and government agencies in these states to vet and purchase Marco solutions through a pre-bid process.
“Typically, it might take an organization 2-5 weeks to complete the RFP process,” says Brenda Wall, Technology Advisor at Marco. “Our pre-bid contract with the CPC allows them to purchase Marco solutions in an accelerated time-frame and at a competitive price. That’s more critical now than ever with so many schools needing to quickly update their technology due to COVID-19 and distance learning.”
Marco was awarded the contract to sell sound reinforcement solutions—which include classroom and distance learning audio/video and recording solutions, bell/paging solutions and safety and alert systems—on a number of qualifying criteria, such as competitive pricing, quality service and support and an expansive product footprint. Marco was one of few providers vying for the contract that resells the solutions in all three states.
“Marco has a long history of helping organisations work smarter and more effectively with innovative technology, from AV solutions to printers to network management and support. We’re thrilled to work with the CPC to provide schools and government agencies access to quality solutions from a provider who’s immersed in every aspect of IT. Our team is assembled and ready to go,” said Wall.
Marco has chosen Audio Enhancement as its partner in the contract. Wall says the company was built from the ground up with K-12 schools in mind. Founded in 1978, Audio Enhancement offers a host of classroom audio and video solutions that integrate with key safety components.
