Marco one of Top 150 Workplaces
June 26, 2018
Marco has been ranked #27 on the list of the Top 150 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune.
Produced by the same team that compiles the 27-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognises the most progressive companies in Minnesota. The award is based on employees’ opinions about engagement, organisational health and satisfaction. The Star Tribune’s analysis included responses from over 71,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and non-profit organisations.
The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 150 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, formerly WorkplaceDynamics, an independent company specialising in employee engagement and retention.
Sara Lommel, Marco’s Director of Human Resources, expressed her pride in this achievement. “We are so honoured to win this award. We value our employees, positive culture and work/life balance here, so it’s great to receive positive feedback from our staff and earn a spot on the Star Tribune’s list of companies.”
Star Tribune Publisher Michael J. Klingensmith said, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top 150 Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”
To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Over 2,400 companies were invited to participate. Rankings were calculated from composite scores based purely on employee responses.
