June 26, 2019
Marco announced it has received Top Workplaces award from the Star Tribune which follows the earlier announcement of being recognised as a best place to work by Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal (MSPBJ).
Marco received a Top Workplaces award from the Star Tribune. The technology company is featured as one of 150 businesses that received this coveted award.
The company explained that based on employee survey results, the award measures workplace health in areas of both “Me” and “We” values. The individual questions cover topics of compensation, benefits, satisfaction, etc. The more collective questions centre on culture, mission, vision, growth, leadership, etc.
Marco’s survey results earned a Top Workplaces award. Select companies are honoured as high-performers and given survey snapshots to analyse the data from their staff members.
Star Tribune revealed recipients of the award in their 16 June publication. Notably, this year marks Marco’s 10th time receiving the award, securing a spot as a 10-year honouree from Star Tribune as well.
“Employee satisfaction and building a positive culture matter deeply to us. We always want to be known as an excellent place to work, and this Star Tribune award honours us and confirms we are keeping our employees happy,” said Marco Director of Human Resources Sara Lommel.
Marco plans to participate in the Star Tribune’s survey again next year for a chance at this competitive award.
