Marco donates to Rochester Public School Foundation

Marco made a donation to the Rochester Public School Foundation to support innovative education programmes at Rochester Public Schools in Rochester, Minnesota.
During the Rochester School Board meeting on 21 September, Marco Senior Sales Director Eric Casteel and Marco Technology Advisor Jason Atkinson presented members of the Rochester Public School Foundation with a check for $10,000 (€8,520).
“On behalf of the Rochester Public School Foundation’s Board of Directors, and also on behalf of our grant recipients, we would like to express our gratitude to Marco for the generous donation,” said Ginny Amundson, RPSF President. “We were so pleased to learn that we would be receiving a donation from Marco, especially because we had to cancel our main fundraiser, both last year and this year, due to COVID-19. Without Marco’s donation this year, we most likely would have had to limit our grant awards for the next few grant cycles.”
The Rochester Public School Foundation is a non-profit community foundation that connects the community and schools to advance and inspire educational opportunities for all students. RPSF issues grants to staff in Rochester Public Schools to stimulate innovative projects that enrich the curriculum and enhance the offerings in its public schools.
“Strong school systems depend on strong community partners, and it is hard to imagine a better partner than Marco is (and has been for years) for Rochester Public Schools,” said Dr. Kent Pekel, Interim Superintendent of Rochester Public Schools. “This donation will greatly enhance our capacity to accelerate and enrich learning for our students to help them thrive in school and in life.”
