Lyreco to acquire Groenendijk Workwear in the Netherlands

Lyreco announced its intention to acquire the overall operations of Groenendijk Workwear, based in the Netherlands and operating in the Benelux region.
Groenendijk has more than 25 years’ experience in work- and footwear in the PPE market.
Within Lyreco-Intersafe, Lyreco’s safety division, work- and footwear are currently the fastest growing PPE product families with a high demand in SMB and corporate customers.

This includes customer specific bespoke workwear.” said Joris Wels, CEO of Lyreco Intersafe. “Furthermore – like Lyreco, Groenendijk is focusing on sustainability. They care about the complete life cycle of products and offer their customers options to make their operations more sustainable”

The intended acquisition is now subject to the approval of the Dutch Competition and Consumers Authority.
