Lyreco concludes acquisition Staples Solutions

The acquisition included overall operations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria and Poland.
Lyreco announced that it has concluded its acquisition of Staples Solutions’ overall operations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria and Poland, as well as Staples Solutions’ Central Shared Services (IT, eCommerce, Customer Experience, Merchandising, Supply Chain Planning and Finance) primarily located in Poland and The Netherlands. The acquisition will enable nearly 1,600 employees across various different functions to join the Lyreco teams. The sale was completed following local regulatory authorities’ approval.

Staples Solutions began a notable journey after separating from its US parent more than four years ago. After guiding the company through this journey over the past 4 years, Dolph Westerbos, Chief Executive Officer at Staples Solutions, is confident its people will continue to thrive and contribute to Lyreco’s success.
