Lexmark’s new Smart Document Portal

The OEM’s latest solution is designed specifically for insurers, promising “easy, affordable and impressive” on-demand printing.
The Smart Document Portal for Insurance is a solution that provides insurance teams with immediate access to up-to-date materials needed for business activities, that in turn improve customer service and drive growth. The solution enables on-demand printing of the latest versions of promotional material, forms and other documents through Lexmark smart multi-function printers (MFPs) in area offices.
“Things are changing fast in financial services,” explained Lexmark’s Solutions Director, Tim Speller, “with new products and services, changing regulations and higher customer expectations. Insurance teams, from headquarters to agency offices, need to react quickly to these challenges and opportunities.”
Speller continued: “Lexmark developed Smart Document Portal for Insurance to give employees easy access to the materials they need to better serve customers and grow the business.”
The Smart Document Portal solution allows insurers to “seamlessly” integrate branch MFPs with existing systems, to centrally manage and standardise forms and other materials for improved consistency and compliance. Lexmark states that “instant access to the right forms saves time, and improves both compliance and customer service.”
The solution also allows employees to localise and print centrally-approved marketing materials right in the agency office, which the OEM says will eliminate shipping costs and waste, as materials become obsolete. Lexmark smart MFPs can print “high-impact” colour on a variety of sizes and media types so on-brand brochures, marketing materials, forms and proposals can be printed on demand, giving local offices “the agility they need to grow the business.”
