Lexmark named MPS provider for NTHFT

Lexmark International Inc. has announced that North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust (NTHFT) has chosen Lexmark as its Managed Print solution provider.
This new service will provide NTHFT with a full managed print service, streamlining operational efficiencies and helping to control costs and promote sustainability.
North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust provides health care services to a population of over 400,000 people predominantly covering an area from Easington in the North, Stockton in the South, Hartlepool in the East and parts of Sedgefield in the west.
“During 2014, the Clinical Digital Maturity Index (CDMI) ranked North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, in joint 121st position in the NHS acute provider rankings. The CDMI report published in February 2018, now shows the Trust in joint 1st position nationally. As a national digital leader it is important to implement market leading technology to help us maintain this position and level of digital maturity” said Dr Graham Evans Chief Information and Technology Officer of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
NTHFT is also part of the national Global Digital Exemplar programme, an internationally recognised NHS initiative delivering exceptional care, efficiently, through the use of world-class digital technology and information. NTHFT initiated this agreement as a GDE Fast Follower as a result of the successful roll out of the Lexmark Managed Print Services at another GDE site, Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust.

By NTHFT also appointing Lexmark as its partner of choice for this technology, it demonstrates the value of the GDE blueprint process and sharing best practice.”
By accessing the OJEU compliant Healthcare Content Management Framework, hosted by The Countess of Chester Commercial Procurement Department, NTHFT were able to start implementation straight away, delivering the benefits of the technology and maximising the in-year savings identified in the business case.
