This week Static Control has launched new solutions of replacement chips to work with several Canon engines.
Static Control focuses on a one chip solution for remanufacturers to “stock one chip to work in multiple cartridges” and have released replacement chips for use with Canon engines including the Canon LBP-113 (OEM Sku CRG-047; CRG-049) and Canon LBP162 (OEM Sku CRG-051).
The replacement chips are for use in HP M102, HP M104 and HP M203 devices. The replacement chips for the monochrome cartridges come in page yields of 1,600 for use with the HP M102, 1,400 for use with HP M104 and 1,600 and high yield version of 3,500 for use with the HP M203 devices.
The replacement drum unit chips come with page yields of 12,000 for use with the HP M102, 9,200 for use with the HP M104 and 23,000 for use with the HP M203 devices.
Talking about the launch, Static said: “The chips above are now qualified for use in the relevant Canon models. This added convenience was based on customer demand to stock one chip to work in multiple cartridges.”
