The company has continued its philanthropic streak with another gift to a local institution.

Laser Pros International has presented a cheque worth $1,000 (€817) to the board of the Rhinelander Area Scholarship Foundation, reports the Star Journal.

The company is owned and operated by graduates of the Rhinelander High School, Wisconsin, and provides an annual scholarship to either the child of a full-time employee, a student who is currently an employee, and another deserving student.

The RASF was established in 1991, and is a volunteer board raising money for, and distributing scholarships to, Rhinelander students with designs on furthering their education beyond high school. It partners with the High School to organise an annual scholarship award ceremony every May.

Earlier this year, Laser Pros made a donation to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry, an organisation assisting local families in need by delivering food parcels.
