Kyocera launches cloud-based print and scan solution
April 6, 2022
KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc. announced the launch of Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan, a solution utilising cloud-based applications while offering the flexibility to print from anywhere and scan to the cloud.
The new service enables customers to accelerate their digital transformation with increased document security while reducing printing costs, and ultimately eliminating the need to manage servers.
Kyocera said its latest offering is optimal for organisations of any size, including hybrid and home office work environments, and easily integrates with Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive and Box.com.
The company added that as offices become increasingly decentralised, there is a growing demand for cost-effective printing and infrastructure. The solution meets this need and reduces operational costs using multi-tenant software hosted in the cloud with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan helps businesses move forward with a more centralised approach to print and security management, providing many advantages, including:
- Secure print release – job release only after user authentication
- Multiple scan options – scan to the Kyocera cloud, 3rd party cloud storage or, email a download link
- Reporting – reports by user or group provides actionable data to help reduce costs
- Print Policies – assign group print policies to improve efficiency and save paper
“Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan is a very exciting solution,” said John Kinses, Director, Product Marketing Software & Services, at KYOCERA Document Solutions America, Inc. “It allows customers to move printing and scanning to a secure, stable, high-performance cloud while saving operational costs,” he added. “As changes in the workplace continue to evolve, we remain committed to offering solutions that enhance business productivity.”
