KYOCERA Document Solutions has added a new range to its award-winning ECOSYS portfolio, in order to help improve organisations’ workflows.
The range includes three A4 colour printers, the ECOSYS P7240cdn, ECOSYS P6235cdn and ECOSYS P6230cdn and four A4 multifunction printers (MFPs): ECOSYS M6635cidn, ECOSYS M6235cidn, ECOSYS M6630cidn and ECOSYS M6230cidn.
The devices have been developed to improve office productivity: with speeds of 30-40 pages per minute, new dual scanning capabilities and an improved time to first copy, there’s less time spent waiting at the printer. 1200dpi colour quality now comes as standard within the range, giving crisper colours and cleaner lines.
With low running costs, these devices are ideally suited to small to medium sized businesses. The environmentally-friendly range benefits from KYOCERA’s unique ECOSYS design, which includes a long life drum for the life of the printer. As toner is the only consumable, this minimises the total cost of ownership with regard to maintenance, administration and consumables. Its lower power consumption also reduces electricity bills and is Energy Star 3.0 compliant.
The range’s MFPs benefit from KYOCERA’s intelligent HyPAS solution platform, which has apps that have been developed around real business needs and challenges to address users’ workflow needs. Leveraging this technology, paper documents are cost-effectively routed into an efficient digital workflow, helping organisations to control costs and improve security and processes.
The device offers mobile printing support including AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, KYOCERA Mobile Print and Mopria and is certified for use with iOS and Android devices, meaning users can print and scan straight from mobile. For those concerned about GDPR, KYOCERA’s optional Data Security Kit encrypts data as it is written to the hard disk and permanently deletes all data after a job is completed.
