Kyocera completes acquisition

Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. announced that it has completed the acquisition of OPTIMAL SYSTEMS GmbH, a Germany-based enterprise content management (ECM) solutions provider, making OPTIMAL SYSTEMS a subsidiary of Kyocera as of 15 April.

Since Kyocera and OPTIMAL SYSTEMS’ shareholder reached an acquisition agreement on 27 December 2019, both parties have been taking the necessary steps to close the transaction, the company said.

By utilising OPTIMAL SYSTEMS’ expertise in ECM solutions, Kyocera said it aims to strengthen its portfolio and further provide added value to its customers as a partner that contributes to the expansion of their business.

OPTIMAL SYSTEMS will remain independent and will continue to operate unchanged.
