The company has acquired document solutions business of a Malaysia-based company.

Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. announced that it has acquired the document solutions business of Malaysia-based JISNA (MALAYSIA) Sbn. Bhd. and has started operations through its newly established sales subsidiary, Kyocera Document Solutions Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., on 2 November.

Kyocera Document Solutions Malaysia is the eighth sales subsidiary under Kyocera Document Solutions Asia, the regional sales headquarter of the company in the Asian region excluding Japan and China. The company had been offering MFPs and printers in Malaysia through its partnership with JISNA. Kyocera explained that with demands expected to further grow in the region, developing strategic sales operations has been an urgent task to respond to customer needs.

In light of this situation, the company acquired JISNA’s document solutions business in order to strengthen its sales and maintenance operations in the Malaysian market and provide services to customers throughout the country in a timely manner.

In addition to MFPs and printers, the company plans to offer ECM (Enterprise Content Management) and ICT solutions as comprehensive services, with the aim of enhancing its customer service infrastructure and expanding sales.
