KPND seizes counterfeit cartridges

493 cartridges, which are thought to be counterfeits, were seized in Jalan Pasir Puteh, Perak, Malaysia.
The Perak branch of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) acted on information given by trademark representatives and its own gathered intelligence. Bernama reported that the Perak KPDN raided a shop in Jalan Pasir Puteh, Perak and “discovered 493 cartridges suspected of being falsely trademarked, (…)”.
The raids took place in the presence of the trademark holders and the value of the seized goods is estimated to be RM 4,667 ($1,084/ €977).
One individual who identified himself as the “company manager responsible for the premises” was arrested.
