Konica Minolta’s EMS receives ISO certification
January 18, 2021
Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe announced that its Environment Management System (EMS) has once again been awarded ISO 14001:2015 certification by TÜV Rheinland. EMS was first granted this certification in 2017.
With its Environmental Management System (EMS), Konica Minolta said it is committed to reducing its environmental impact, complying with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) legislation and considering essential stakeholder requirements.
EMS integrates procedures and processes for training personnel as well as monitoring, summarising, and reporting specialised environmental performance information for internal and external Konica Minolta stakeholders.
It was established in June 2017 and recently been recertified in accordance with the international standard ISO 14001:2015. ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organisation can use to enhance its environmental performance. It helps organisations to minimise their negative impact on the environment and to comply with applicable laws, regulations and other environmental requirements.
Other European subsidiaries that have received ISO14001:2015 certification include Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Bulgaria and the UK.
