Konica Minolta wins govt contract

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia has won a $400,000 (€248,543) contract to provide an Enterprise Content Management Solution to a Singapore government agency.
As asia one reports, the OEM’s Singapore-based subsidiary has been granted a $400,000 (€248,543) contract to provide a government agency with an Enterprise Content Management Solution in order to improve the agency’s “operational efficiency.”
Singapore’s government is currently seeking to create “a more digitally integrated society”, having received the highest ranking in the Asian Digital Transformation Index last year, “excelling in digital infrastructure and industry connectivity.”
Konica Minolta’s Enterprise Content Management Solution will allow the agency to manage “a large volume of content securely”, as well as enabling end users to “search and retrieve documents and records easily across the agency’s digital repository.” The OEM will transition current content to the new solution in addition to offering maintenance support and “future enhancements.”

The Enterprise Content Management solution will be “implemented according to regulatory guidelines and process governance.”
