The company announced partial transfer of software business in the IT service field of its sales company in France.
Konica Minolta, Inc. (Konica Minolta) announced that Konica Minolta Business Solutions France S.A.S. (Konica Minolta Business Solutions France), Konica Minolta’s sales company in France in the DW-DX business of the Digital Workplace Business, has concluded an agreement to transfer part of its software business to Sinergis IT and completed the transfer.
The impact of the transfer on the Company’s consolidated business performance of the fiscal year ending March 2025 is negligible.
In its Medium-term Business Plan, Konica Minolta positions the DW-DX business, which mainly focuses on providing IT services, as a direction-changing business. In the process of studying the possibility of narrowing the business scope, Konica Minolta decided to transfer part of the software business of Konica Minolta Business Solutions France to Sinergis IT.
Through this transfer, Konica Minolta said it will improve the profitability of the DW-DX business. This software business is expected to further demonstrate the strengths under the control of Sinergis IT, which has strong expertise in software.
