Konica Minolta revenue slightly increases

The company has released its financial results for the first quarter fiscal year 2023, reporting that office and production print revenue and profit increased.

For the first quarter, Konica Minolta’s revenue was ¥266.4 billion ($1.87 billion/ €1.7 billion), a 7% increase year-on-year. For the Digital Workplace segment, which includes its office printing devices, revenue was ¥143.3 billion (1 billion/ €915 million), a year-on-year increase of 11%.

Hardware sales saw a 15% volume increase, due to solid demand. Konica Minolta added that unit sales of colour models were up 11% and unit sales of monochrome models decreased 11%. Non-hardware sales saw a 4% decrease in Japan, the U.S. and Europe, increased in India.

Forecasts stay unchanged from the beginning of the fiscal year.
