Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has been officially certified by the Top Employers Institute, for the fourth year in a row, in recognition of its exceptional employee offerings.
The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey, which covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics such as: People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being, and Diversity & Inclusion. The programme has certified and recognised more than 1,600 Top Employers in 120 countries/regions across five continents.
Sarah Stone, Chief People Officer at Konica Minolta commented: “We are immensely proud to have been certified again in 2021. David Plink, the Top Employers Institute’s CEO stated: “Despite the challenging year we have experienced (which has certainly made an impact on organisations around the globe), Konica Minolta has continued to demonstrate the power of putting their people first in the workplace. We are proud to share this year’s announcement and congratulate the organisations who have been certified in their respective countries through the Top Employers Institute programme.”
Sarah Stone continued: “This certification shows where we are making clear progress, but also where we can focus and improve, driving the experience forward and making it even better. We are constantly learning and improving, each year seeing progress and clear development against the criteria, which helps us benchmark where we are. Digital transformation is essential for the development of our employee experience and our progress in these areas is highlighted in our new onboarding and induction portals and processes. Our focus is to make each stage of the employee lifecycle simpler and more effective.”
Konica Minolta said it has continued to focus on improving EE through the launch of new Employee Resource Groups (Communities) which include Vibrant (LGBTQ+), Breathe (wellbeing) and Balance (women’s network) to ensure the employee voice is at the heart of the company. Sarah added: “Our Employee Resource Groups are essential to instilling a strong sense of belonging and inclusivity within Konica Minolta. Communication in a remote world has also become more important than ever and our focus on frequent, informative and relevant communication that utilises a variety of channels has been essential.”
