Konica Minolta partners with Temple Knight
May 18, 2021
Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd announced its new partnership with South East-based expert managed print and maintenance specialist Temple Knight.
With over 36 years’ experience in providing and maintaining print solutions, Temple Knight is perfectly placed to deliver Konica Minolta’s portfolio to customers across the South East, the wider UK and beyond, the company said.
Reflecting upon the new partnership, Simon Chapman, Managing Director at Temple Knight commented: “We are excited to partner with Konica Minolta as it will enable us to grow our market share and enhance our offering of managed print solutions.”
Temple Knight was founded by Chapman’s father, Richard Chapman, in 1985, initially selling and maintaining fax machines and as the markets changed moved into the sales & service of laser printers, photocopiers, label printers, card printers, scanners, and large format plotters. Taking the reins as Managing Director in 2011, Simon Chapman introduced bespoke consultation services for customers looking to manage their printing costs and reduce their overall spend, and the company now has grown significantly with customers across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
Temple Knight’s ability to evolve and anticipate market demands is one of its key strengths, which makes it an attractive partner as Neil Hamilton, UK Channel Development Manager at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd, also commented: “Temple Knight has an extraordinary ability to deliver precisely what its customers want and need, which makes it exactly the kind of expert partner we want to work with. Simon and his team have refocussed their business for growth, based upon the new post-Covid landscape and we are excited to be part of this expansion.”
Chapman continued: “Obviously the pandemic restrictions have been a challenge, but 36 years of business experience have stood us in good stead. We provide remote support helping businesses operate safely. This year we are expecting double-digit growth and Konica Minolta will be a big part of this.”
Looking to the future, the company is looking to attract larger customers too, building upon its sales and servicing expertise and experience with SME clients. Chapman added: “The market is looking to spend on value-add service and with Konica Minolta providing a wide range of market- leading products, together we are in the prime position to deliver this – it’s the opportunity of the decade!”
