As part of its Go-Green initiative, the company has begun delivering small machines and accessories to customers in Delhi, Noida, Cochin, and Guwahati using electric vehicles.
Konica Minolta India has already started delivering small machines and accessories to Delhi, Noida, Cochin, and Guwahati customers using electric vehicles (EVs). This move aligns with Konica Minolta’s commitment to creating a greener future and reducing pollution.
Konica Minolta says that the “pollution-free” 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers are for local deliveries of small machines, spare parts, and equipment weighing under 100 kilograms. The company now utilizes electric 2- and 3-wheelers in Delhi and Noida while relying on 2-wheelers in Cochin and Guwahati to meet customer demands.
Expressing his thoughts on the initiative, Katsuhisa Asari, Managing Director of Konica Minolta, stated, “Through this initiative, we aim to make a positive impact on the environment and promote sustainability. At Konica Minolta, we believe in seizing every opportunity to adopt eco-friendly practices in our daily lives and business innovations. We are grateful for our customers’ positive response to our transition to eco-friendly transport, which has facilitated a smooth and efficient switch.”
The Konica Minolta Go-Green initiative is crucial to fostering global sustainable growth. The EVs employed by Konica Minolta operate on rechargeable battery-based engines, resulting in reduced running and maintenance costs compared to traditional fuel-based vehicles. Moreover, these electric vehicles produce zero toxic emissions, safeguarding public health.
