Konica Minolta delays release of financials

The company has released a notice, confirming it is delaying the release of its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2020.
In its announcement, Konica Minolta said that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has decided to postpone the announcement of its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2020, which was scheduled for 12 May 2020.
Konica Minolta stated: “While the new coronavirus infectious disease is spreading, [the Company] has been working on annual closing while ensuring the safety of the people involved, including the implementation of work from home by employees.
“Since the consolidated accounting and auditing procedures, including the operations of domestic and overseas consolidated companies, will take more days than initially expected, we have decided to postpone the announcement of financial results for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2020.”
The financial results for the fiscal year ending 31 March 2020 are now scheduled to be announced on 26 May 2020.
