Konica Minolta champions partners at dealer conference
March 7, 2019
The OEM has been handing out accolades to its channel partners and unveiling a new partner strategy at its 2019 Dealer Conference.
At its 2019 dealer conference, which kicked off 4 March 2019, Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc. announced its newest strategic initiatives to help dealers serve their existing customers and win new business.
Organisations of every size and type will undergo massive transformation over the next several years, which is why dealer support will be so critical. Accordingly, Konica Minolta has introduced new options, ideas and programs for its dealers, with the singular goal of supporting their businesses to create more opportunities to expand their market share, bringing new sources of services revenue.
“Because we’re a large company with a long history, we’ve felt the growing pains of organisational change just as much as our customers, which makes us uniquely qualified to provide solutions for our dealers,” said Rick Taylor, President and CEO. “At Konica Minolta, we believe the possibilities we can offer our dealers are limitless. We are making the case for our dealers to digitally transform and to provide new value-based offerings to grow their customer base and revenue.”
Specifically, the team shared programs for how to leverage Managed Services from Konica Minolta’s IT Services division, All Covered, to showcasing next generation office MFPs (the newly developed iSeries Bizhub, which will be released later this year), to solutions for how to support high-end continuous feed inkjet, wide format print and industrial print.
During the event, Konica Minolta also announced its dealer award winners, recognising accomplishments during its 2017 fiscal year (1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018).
Through the success of its dealers, Konica Minolta says it ranks number one in ‘highest average dealer revenue of any manufacturer,’ according to The Cannata Report’s 2018 Dealer Survey. The company honoured top performers for their revenue growth and product sales at a dinner and awards ceremony at Segerstrom Centre in Costa Mesa, CA.
The dinner closed day one of the two-day Dealer Conference.
“We recognise that organisations of every size and type will undergo massive transformation over the next several years. And our dealers are critical for the industry’s continued growth and forward momentum,” said Taylor. “These awards are a great opportunity to let them know how much we value their business, and how proud we are of their success.”
The dealer conference also featured a number of educational sessions, which will be hosted on 5 March 2019, focused on AI, security, workplace of the future, talent development, humanisation in technology and much more. All this is aimed at educating dealers about how Konica Minolta’s solutions and services will help accelerate business and simplify Managed Services for them and their customers.
