Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia has appointed a new Managing Director, effective from 1 January 2018.
As asia one reports, Osafumi Kawamura has taken on the role of Managing Director at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia as of 1 January 2018. In his new position, he will be responsible for “strategic leadership and transformation for the region.”
Mr Kawamura has over 25 years of experience in the industry, previously serving as the Managing Director of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Thailand, where he was “instrumental” in the establishment of the business “and its transformation into a value-added organisation.”
He has also held several key roles in Japan, Singapore, France, Vienna, Thailand and India, and his career at Konica Minolta has included positions in Sales, Marketing, Business Planning and Strategic Leadership.
“Southeast Asia is an important economy for Konica Minolta and we see growth potentials to emulate success from other regions”, said Mr. Kawamura, Managing Director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia Pte Ltd. “With the ubiquitous adoption of digital technology and interconnectivity, robotics automation and Distributed Ledger Technology may have the potential to change how business operates.”
