March 6, 2019
Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) Ltd. has announced that it has acquired Continuity Solutions Ltd., a Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) based in Calgary, Alberta.
Over the past several years, Continuity Solutions, led by founder and CEO Ray Archer, has built a loyal customer base in Calgary by establishing itself as a leading IT service provider among SMBs. Heavily focused on proactive support and a client-first approach, Continuity Solutions’ culture and business model made it an ideal addition to Konica Minolta’s established IT Services division, explains the OEM.
“My promise to my customers has always been to do what is best for their business, and I believe this acquisition will allow me to deliver on that promise, and then some,” said Archer. “As a Managed IT Service Provider our top priority has always been to safeguard our clients’ technology investment and, with the added bandwidth, manpower, and technological capabilities that Konica Minolta affords, our clients can rest assured knowing they’re supported by one of the best in the industry.”
Continuity Solutions’ team will be joining Konica Minolta’s IT Services division (IT Weapons). Konica Minolta’s IT Services division has been the recipient of major industry recognition as of late, having been named to CRN’s MSP 500 list in the Pioneer 250 category earlier this month, as well as being named one of the top 50 Managed Service Providers in Canada for the 2nd straight year. To expand the accessibility of its service offerings nationally, the division also recently launched eight IT-service Client Experience Centres across Canada – including one such Centre in Calgary.
“This acquisition represents another step forward in our ongoing national expansion, as well as delivering on our promise to our clients to provide them will excellent support anywhere in Canada,” said Ted Garner, President IT Weapons, the IT Services division of Konica Minolta. “Continuity Solutions’ focus on continuity planning, cloud services, and high availability complements our core strengths as a nationwide MSP. We’re excited to make this addition to the Konica Minolta family, which further demonstrates our commitment to meeting the current and future needs of the business nationwide.”
