KMP announces company name change

The German manufacturer is shortening its official title.
Previously known as KMP PrintTechnik AG, the Bavarian company shall henceforth be known simply as KMP AG.
Although it stipulates that the production of print supplies including toner and inkjet cartridges remains its “core business”, the change came about as KMP “wants its name to reflect the changing assortment, and include new product lines like their accessories for mobile devices.”
KMP currently boasts subsidiaries in both Europe and Africa, with multiple distributors elsewhere across the world. The company recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, with the past three decades seeing it transformed from a “small ribbon factory” to “a market leader for printer supplies.”
