KDUK placed on CPC framework

June 16, 2021

The presence on the procurement hub will make it easier for education institutions and the wider public sector to access Kyocera’s print and document solutions.

Kyocera Document Solutions UK (KDUK) has been awarded a place on the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) framework for the provision of Multifunctional Devices (Lot 1) and Digital Transformation Solution (Lot 2).

This will further increase Kyocera’s presence in the UK education and wider public sectors, granting access not just to Kyocera’s range of print devices, but also the company’s portfolio of comprehensive ICT services.

CPC was founded in 2000 and operates 82 education sector frameworks, covering a wide range of areas including printing, professional services, teaching equipment and catering. The Multifunctional Devices and Digital Transformation Solutions framework was launched on 26 April and is managed on behalf of CPC by the Dukefield Group.

It aims to match public sector customers with the right print and ICT suppliers. This is a national framework that covers educational institutions and wider public sector organisations looking for a straightforward route to buying a multifunctional device, as well as those searching for long-term strategic partners in their drive for greater digitisation.

Richard Burton, Head of Bids and Frameworks at Kyocera Document Solutions UK, said: “Joining the CPC framework marks another positive step in our progression as a company. Public sector is a hugely important area for us, and one where we are proud to be able to deliver our print and document management services.

“The last year has been a hugely challenging one for this sector, including schools and other educational institutions that are either fully reopened or in the process of reopening right now, which is a real positive. However, there is still much to do in terms of catching up on lost learning and reintegrating students and staff into a regular routine.

“Adopting the best technologies and embracing digital innovations such as automation will be key to meeting this challenge, and will also help transform the public sector for the better in the long term.”

Jon Chamberlain, Group Chief Executive Officer at the Dukefield Group, added: “A key driver behind this latest iteration of the framework is to provide customers with a choice of excellent suppliers, with a diverse range of offerings that meet the specific needs of buyers. This enables them to transform the services they provide whilst also realising greater efficiencies. We are delighted to welcome Kyocera to the framework and look forward to seeing them deliver their offerings to education customers.”
