Katun unveils new Asia HQ and R&D Centre

Katun Corporation, a leading provider of OEM-compatible supplies and parts to the office equipment industry, announced the unveiling of its new Asia headquarters and R&D centre in Taichung, Taiwan.
A grand opening event was held on 16 June, marking a significant milestone in the group’s continued growth and global expansion efforts. Taichung Mayor, Lu Shiow-yen, local dignitaries and various stakeholders attended the event, highlighting Katun’s important position in the community.
Katun has invested $26 million (€24.03 million) to construct the new, state-of-the-art facility, which incorporates the innovative Google office concept. The company explained that the building emphasises Katun’s commitment to sustainability and features a high-efficiency smart building management system which uses environmental monitoring tools to maximise sitewide efficiency, safety, and energy savings.
“We are thrilled for this new facility to serve as a hub for collaboration and discovery, enabling us to develop innovative solutions that set us apart in the market,” said Kay Fernandez, Vice President, Global Marketing. “It’s groundbreaking, sustainable technology and resources will allow our talented team of engineers and researchers to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the office technology industry.”

The company said that the grand opening of its new Asia Operational Headquarters and R&D centre is a significant milestone for the organisation.
