JetXpert’s brand new PrintXaminer

The company has announced the release of its new PrintXaminer technology, promising “print quality measurement, made easy.”
The new release combines an integrated camera, lighting and optics with a preconfigured test target and matching software analysis, which means the user is “ready to perform measurements in minutes,” according to ImageXpert Inc. President Yair Kipman.
The new PrintXaminer allows users to “seamlessly move between dropwatching, sample printing, and print quality inspection,” and promises to “easily add print quality inspection to your JetXpert Dropwatcher or JetXpert Print Station.”
“Just as it is important to study the drops in flight, it is also important to study the drops once they have hit the substrate,” the company explains. “The PrintXaminer is designed to bring seamless print quality measurement capabilities to your dropwatching and printing system. The system is ready to use on day one with a pre-configured test target and measurements for line quality, dot size, bleed, inter-colour bleed, and more. You can also expand your analysis with your own customised measurements to match your application.”
