ISC elects new officers

The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced that it has elected a new Chairman of the Board and three new officers.
The appointments were revealed at their annual meeting, held on 26 June 2018. Alf Andersen, Contract Attorney for Epson was named Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Jeff Sampson of HP.
Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, President of the Coalition said, “The members and Board of Directors want to thank Jeff for his proactive involvement and support of the ISC. Our new Chairman, Alf Andersen, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership.”
Praveen Kallayil, WW Brand Protection Manager at HP Inc. was elected Chair-Elect. Steve Simpson, VP, Supplies Business Group at Xerox will continue as Secretary. Andrew Gardner, WW Brand Protection Manager at Lexmark was elected to continue in his role as treasurer.
Westerfield went on to say, “Each of these officers has broad experience in the imaging supplies industry and are their companies’ leaders in developing intellectual property rights protection strategies to defend their companies’ brand from illegal activity.”
The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection, Inc. is a non-profit association of imaging supplies original equipment manufacturers. Coalition members are Brother International Corporation, Canon U.S.A., Inc., Epson America Inc., HP Inc., Lexmark International, Inc., and Xerox Corporation.
