ISC elects new board

The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced that it elected a new Chairman of the Board, new officers, and a new board appointment at their annual meeting held 13 June 2019.
Newly elected Praveen Kallayil, Worldwide Brand Protection Manager, HP was named Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Alf Andersen, Contract Attorney for Epson.
Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, President of the Coalition said, ” Our new Chairman, Praveen Kallayil brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership.”
Rafi Haqqani, Director of Marketing, Supplies and Accessories, Brother International was elected Chair-Elect. Carl Nielsen, Manager of Global Brand Protection at Xerox was elected Secretary and Andrew Gardner Worldwide Brand Protection Manager at Lexmark will continue in his role as Treasurer.
Jennifer Dirks, Brand Protection Manager at Epson was named to be Epson’s representative on the ISC Board. Yuki Kawakami continues to represent Canon on the board.
Westerfield went on to say, “Each of these officers has broad experience in the imaging supplies industry and are their companies’ leaders in developing intellectual property rights protection strategies to defend their companies’ brand from illegal activity.”
The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection, Inc. is a non-profit association of imaging supplies original equipment manufacturers. Coalition members are Brother International Corporation, Canon U.S.A., Inc., Epson America Inc., HP Inc., Lexmark International, Inc., and Xerox Corporation.
