INNOTEC achieves ‘Origine France Garantie’
November 27, 2020
The company has recently been certified ‘Origine France Garantie’ and claims to be the first and only consumables producer to achieve the certification.
INNOTEC has announced that it has recently been certified ‘Origine France Garantie’ (Made in France) that was created in 2010 and is the only certification that attests to the French origin of a product.
The French remanufacturer of laser cartridges said: “Made in France, [is] an integral part of INNOTEC’s DNA since its creation in 1993” and has “been a visionary on the challenges of the circular economy, pioneering in environmental issues and ingenious in the organisation of short circuits.”
The ‘Origine France Garantie’ certification provides consumers with the product reliability by giving a clear and objective indication of origin. Obtaining this certification is based on two cumulative criteria that the products must satisfy:
- Between 50% and 100% of the unit cost price is French
- The product takes its essential characteristics in France
In 2003, the company “made the choice, against the current of the market, to maintain all of its production in France near Montpellier, to preserve the know-how of women and men from INNOTEC.” The company said.
INNOTEC claims to be “the only manufacturer of printing consumables who ensures all of its production happens on French territory.” Explaining “that it also chooses to place people at the heart of its production site in order to maintain the performance level of its products.”
Commenting on receiving the certification, the company said: “For INNOTEC, obtaining this certification proves all of its 27 years of commitment and promotion of French know-how. Faced with strong competition, an organised market for indirect sales encouraging imported products and a lack of transparency for end customers, the ‘Origine France Garantie’ certification represents for us an essential element of distinction and differentiation.”
