HYB’s renewes UKCA certification
January 2, 2025
HYB reported that it has successfully renewed its UKCA certification for its entire range of drum units.
The UKCA marking replaces the EU wide CE mark certification of a manufacturer’s conformity with European health, safety and environmental protection standards. As a result of Brexit, the UK is replacing the CE mark with the new UKCA marking for Great Britain. A UKNI mark would apply to Northern Ireland.
#HYB’s drum units successfully passed three critical tests: Radiated Emission, Electrostatic Discharges (ESD), and Radiated Immunity. These tests ensure that HYB’s drum units meet the highest regulatory requirements and operate flawlessly under various conditions, the company explained.
The results of the Radiated Emission test indicate that HYB’s products do not emit electromagnetic interference that could disrupt other electronic devices.
The Electrostatic Discharges (ESD) test confirms the drum units’ resilience to sudden electrical discharges, which could potentially damage the equipment.
And the Radiated Immunity test verifies that the drum units are immune to radiated disturbances from external sources, ensuring reliable performance in all environments.
The company added: “HYB’s commitment to excellence extends beyond mere compliance; it is driven by a passion for innovation and sustainability. The renewal of the UKCA certification serves as a testament to HYB’s expertise in manufacturing drum units and its relentless pursuit of meeting the highest international standards.”
