KMP unveils a cost-effective, firmware-friendly solution.

KMP, one of Europe’s leading remanufacturers, has unveiled a new development for HP printer users. The German company has announced the release of their new hybrid chip variant. Available for a wide range of HP cartridges, including HP 913A, HP 953XL, HP 957XL, HP 963XL, HP 973X, HP 981, and more, this hybrid chip ensures compatibility with HP’s frequent firmware updates.

HP has been using a server system to monitor connected printers, often blocking alternative chip serial numbers through updates. The KMP HYBRID CHIP, however, is resistant to these updates, guaranteeing uninterrupted functionality for KMP ink cartridges while enjoying premium print quality without the hassle of firmware issues.

HP uses a server to monitor all connected HP printers for chips. This HP dynamics security can block non-HP consumables using firmware updates to block serial numbers from alternative chips.

Currently, KMP hybrid chips are available for HP 953 BK/C/M/Y, HP 963 BK/C/M/Y, and HP 957 cartridges.
