HYB Toner celebrates expansion in Africa
July 6, 2021
HYB and their distributor in South Africa are celebrating their establishment of a new dealership in Republic of Angola.
According to Mr. Maia, the owner of MR. TONER in South Africa, the demand of premium quality toner has encouraged his bold steps to take on an expansion of market.
With its network of dealers who only apply OEM and HYB toner into their copiers, MR TONER has been growing rapidly its market share in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mauritius and Angola with the product range of Konica Minolta, Kyocera Mita, Ricoh, Toshiba, Utax, Olivetti toner and parts supplied by HYB.
MR. TONER recently signed an agreement, authorising its new dealer in the Republic of Angola to resell HYB Toner and remanufactured copiers in the Republic of Angola. This is another step to take since its expansion of branch set-up in Mauritius in 2020.
“In July we are celebrating our anniversary of branch opened in Mauritius. The success we have had in Mauritius has reached my expectation. In my 20-year experience in the industry, only the companies that persist in quality will survive and grow. Nowadays we see many suppliers entered with low price but none of them remains after few years of price war.
“This is exactly why HYB is the only manufacturer I am working with in the Aftermarket. Their policy is very clear and I witnessed their continuous investment in quality and expanding their laboratories. I didn’t see anyone else who is doing the same way at this scale,” said Tony Maia, Owner of MR TONER.
“This is one of the example that is reflecting HYB’s further achievement in the market and brand building. Until July of 2021, HYB’s ERP customer data base has included 900+ cooperated importers in 105 countries. The number was still 700/77 in 2019,” Kim Lee, the Sales Director of HYB Group added.
