HYB introduces latest solutions

Over the past few weeks, the company has launched several new products, adding remanufactured drum units and toner cartridges to its product range.
One of the latest products launched by HYB Toner is a remanufactured drum unit for use in Konica Minolta Bizhub C6000/C7000 series machines. HYB said that the drum unit has an estimated page yield of 400,000 pages.
Talking about this latest launch, HYB said: “HYB has been the first choice of 700 importers in 77 countries for their copier toner cartridges. We developed more than 2700 SKUs for Injection, blow moulding production and the products we supply are not just for leading manufacturers who fill their own copier cartridges but also 75% of cartridges produced and come into the HYB facility. As for Drum units, HYB sorted good conditioned drum cartridges to rebuild with long life OPC so as the yield of products can be assured.”
Ricoh recently released a new firmware update with identifier 2.27.1 which affects the Ricoh IMC series machines such as IMC 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4500 and 6000 and possibly the Ricoh IMC 510 machines.
HYB has launched its latest solution for use in the above machines which is not affected by the updates. HYB said: “The dedicated solution will avoid failure caused to their customers after new firmware updated. With this latest update installed on Ricoh devices, the Japanese OEM will be able to verify the region code on the toner cartridge chip and if it does not match with the machine, it will automatically block the device and all its functions. Even though toner and the region of its machines are identified, with HYB toner cartridges there will be no issues with functions as their products will be recognised as European version.”
The black toner cartridge gives an estimated capacity of 14,500 pages and the colour toner cartridges were estimated to have 13,000 pages of capacity.
HYB set up their own standard and testing system for spare parts to measure the lifetime of production and share its information with their distributors.
So far HYB has developed more than 105 SKUs for copier drum units for use in Ricoh, Canon, Konica Minolta, Fuji Xerox, Lexmark, Sindoh, Olivetti, and Kyocera Mita Machines. The existing inventory of over 22,000 pieces of empty OEM drum cartridges offer its customers availability and efficient shipment.
