Hubei Dinglong looks forward to Remanexpo opportunities

Paperworld 2019 – including the Remanexpo product group – is fast-approaching, with myriad companies now confirming their participation in Frankfurt in January.
2019’s edition of the annual trade show takes place at Messe Frankfurt, Germany, from the 26th to the 29th of January, and with three months still to go, excitement and anticipation are beginning to build. Over 100 exhibitors from across the globe are already confirmed, and they will be joined at the show by many hundreds of visitors from every corner of both the industry and the planet.
Among the exhibitors in Frankfurt in January will be Hubei Dinglong, which will be exhibiting at Booth C45, in Remanexpo’s new home of Hall 5.1. The company’s European General Manager, Ian Copsey, told The Recycler that the show represents “a great opportunity in a four-five day period to meet the majority of our EU customers and prospects.”
“After five-six years of ongoing participation, we haven’t found a better medium or event in Europe that allows us to reach a high percentage of our customers in such an efficient way,” Copsey explained. “It is an expensive few days, but we always come away with new opportunity, and that’s what keeps on bringing us back!”
Discussing his ambitions for the 2019 edition of the trade show, Copsey said that Hubei Dinglong hoped to promote some of the newer copier materials it was bringing to market: “We see a mix of existing customers entering the copier space,” he elaborated, “or new prospects who are already in the copier market but perhaps new to Hubei Dinglong. These will be key to our achievements at Remanexpo 2019.” He also revealed he was looking forward to the “consolidation of existing business relationships.”
Copsey also looked to The Recycler Live seminar programme, particularly anticipating conversations surrounding the future of reuse, and the current plastic waste pandemic.
“Clearly the European political tide for sustainable products and reduction of plastic waste is starting to pressure corporate clients to carefully consider product choices based on environmental impact,” he said. “I hope a similar discussion prevails at Frankfurt, and the likes of Zoltan [Matyas] from wta and Volker [Kappius] from Delacamp get to air their positive and passionate message to the European audience.”
Remanexpo has long been a key draw for companies from across the full spectrum of the aftermarket, and for Copsey, it remains an unmissable event.
“I feel it’s important for the true Manufacturing base of the Remanufacturing industry to support these events with a visible presence,” he commented. “In some ways it sets the tone for the start of the business calendar year. It takes front and centre for the first few weeks of the New Year and helps us focus on what we are looking to achieve. It’s a great catalyst for the New Year of business.”
