Hubei Dinglong achieves Nordic Ecolabel standard 5.5

The company has received the standard for its H76 toner, for use in multiple HP colour printers.
The toner is for use in the HP M252/M452/M553/M254/M180 colour printers, and has now been certified as meeting the requirements for toner powders in the Nordic Ecolabel standard 5.5.
The material was tested by TUV Rheinland LGA Products GmbH, and has passed the stringent requirements to become approved for use in Nordic Ecolabel-certified toner cartridges.
Originally, H76 was developed just for the HP M452, but with additional testing and development it is now suitable for the current HP Colour Jet Intelligence range models noted above, as well as the Canon equivalent applications. The addition of NWS 5.5 now “completes the appeal of this high-quality toner.”
Reacting to the news, Hubei Dinglong’s General Manager for Europe, Ian Copsey, said that the approval “demonstrates our raw material selection and manufacturing process is meeting the industry’s high standard. We recognise the requirement in the European market to attain these standards and to assist our customers in meeting their end users obligation for Health & Environmental standards.”
