HP launches instant ink in Singapore
March 3, 2022
HP Inc. announced the launch of Instant Ink, Singapore’s first ink cartridge subscription service for home printing.
The company said the launch will address growing consumer needs in today’s hybrid world and will allow subscribers to save up to 50% on their cost for ink.
Vivian Chua, Singapore Managing Director, HP Inc. said, “We are printing more than ever as more people rely on hybrid working and home-based learning. Not only do we see a surge in demand for printers, but existing owners are also using their printers more. Subscribers will not have to worry about ‘inkmergencies’ – Instant Ink delivers new ink cartridges before they ever run out. I am excited for print users to experience the freedom, flexibility and convenience of using Instant Ink.”
With the instant ink programme there is no annual fee or lock-in contract, and HP is offering a free three-month trial for a limited time. Recycling of the cartridges is also included in the packages as part of HP’s closed-loop cartridge recycling process.
Earlier this week HP announced it had grown the worldwide subscriber base for its instant ink programme to over 11 million.
Instant ink packages start a $1.90 (US$1.39/ €1.26) for ten pages a month up to 700 pages a month for $36.90 (US$27.17/ €24.50).
