HP: End of the driver for CLP300 printer

Oct 14, 2020 | 0 comments

If you are running the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system you are probably looking for a driver, and the bad news is, HP isn’t proving one.

If you are using a Samsung CLP 300 printer, you may have discovered that HP has no driver for Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system. See here.

The only option available on the HP website is the Samsung Easy Printer Manager, which was released in August 2018, but is for the Windows 8.1 (32-bit) operating system.

The printer was commercially available in 2004, and was designed for ease of use, featuring a front panel which pulls down to reveal four toner cartridges and a waste toner tank, which can be easily removed and replaced.

As of 2014, Samsung discontinued manufacturing the printer. HP acquired the Samsung printer business in 2017.
