HP collaborates with Flex to expand HP HOPE
November 13, 2024
HP is working with Flex to advance digital equity through HP HOPE Recycling Futures, HP’s signature programme to donate fully refurbished devices to children in need.
HP HOPE accepts devices from organisations that would otherwise dispose of them and gives this technology a second life. These PCs are then delivered to non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and schools serving vulnerable and marginalised groups.
HP’s HOPE programme is currently “recycling futures” in India, Singapore, Brazil, and Europe and is aiming to expand to other regions.
Through the generous support of Flex, HP HOPE will now be able to increase its scale in Europe, HP said.
Through its collaboration with HP, Flex will continue to offer refurbishment services, donating efforts to HP HOPE, using their expertise to prolong product lifecycles while meeting regulatory requirements.
